Ivoliene I. (Vincent) Todd, 89, of Reed City, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at her home. She was born October 4, 1923 in Chase to Perry and Tressa (Rogers) Herring and attended rural schools in this area. Ivoliene married Preston James Vincent, who was a farmer in the Reed City area, on October 5, 1940. He preceded her in death on August 3, 1976. She later married John Todd, who also preceded her in death. She lived on the same farm until the time of her death. She worked for a few years at Wolverine in Big Rapids and Evart Products in Evart, and loved to cook and sew. She is survived by two sons; James E. (Diana) Vincent and Gene A. (Vicki) Vincent, both of Reed City, eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Mary Spaugh of Paris, Doloris Wood of Clovis, NM, and Sharon Marcellus of Scottville, and her brothers, Norm (Karen) Herring of Cadillac, Dale (Treva) Herring of Hawkins, and Larry (Joan) Herring of Reed City, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, Ivoliene was preceded in death by her son, Earl P. Vincent in 1995, granddaughter Kristi Ann Vincent in 1983, sisters Myrtle Thrasher and Delphene Russell, and brothers Perry Herring, Jr., and Vernon Herring. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 8 at McDowell Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will today, Thursday, February 7, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
